Getting a Discount at the store- Use the Manager

I have gotten a discount at a store once, it wasn't easy but I was buying several cards at once spending quite a good bit of money there, I asked for a discount. At first he bulked at the request till I brought it to his attention that I could always forget his store and buy a Visa Gift card. There are some banks that will give you a discount for quanity purchases.



So after he saw my point of view about getting a discount and maybe losing a sell he gave me a discount of 5%. Not a whole lot, but still better than retail. So always ask to speak to a manager and try to get a discount in the store. If he won't budge, go for the Visa cards.





Getting a discount on a gift card can be frustrating but you can find them and get the discounts. And after getting a sale price on the card you will feel better.
